As a Senior Manager on the Marketing team, you’ll contribute to this mission by running the exciting, critically important social media channel, spearheading innovative content marketing, and growing our social following and engagement.

How you’ll make an impact

  • You’ll set B2C and B2B social strategy in support of The Muse’s overall goals
  • You’ll set organic and paid social engagement goals and be accountable for them
  • You’ll own all key social channels, using your expertise to determine how to leverage each channel most effectively
  • You’ll serve as a social expert to teams internally by staying on top of industry trends and liaising externally with social platforms on their direction, best practices, and new opportunities
  • You’ll experiment with new social channels to determine if they can help The Muse reach new audiences
  • You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to create unique, scalable social content
  • You’ll react to breaking / trending news, identifying ways that The Muse can authentically participate in the conversation
  • You’ll help the entire Muse team be brand advocates through their own social networks
  • You’ll analyze and report on key social metrics including reach, engagement, and followers (btw, we use Sprout Social Team), and with help from your colleagues, you’ll analyze the impact of social activities on business results
